Privacy

How rsvp-ai handles personal data. This is a plain-language summary; please review it with your own legal counsel before launch.

Who we are

rsvp-ai is a tool that helps a couple or wedding planner (the “host”) collect RSVPs from their guests over WhatsApp. The host is the controller of their guests’ data; rsvp-ai processes it on the host’s behalf.

What we store

For each wedding: the couple’s names, optional venue and date, and host-defined questions. For each guest: name, phone number, RSVP status, any details they share (e.g. dietary needs, plus-ones), and the message history of their WhatsApp conversation.

Why

Solely to send the host’s invitations and run the RSVP conversation. We do not sell personal data or use guests’ messages to train models.

Sub-processors

Messages are delivered via Twilio (WhatsApp). Conversations are generated using Google Gemini. Data is stored with Supabase (Postgres). Each is bound by its own data-processing terms.

Guest rights & opt-out

A guest can reply STOP at any time to opt out and stop receiving messages. Guests may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their data by contacting the host (or us at the address below).

Host accounts

Each host’s data is isolated. A host can delete their account and all associated weddings, guests, and messages at any time from the account menu (“Delete my account & data”).

Retention

Data is kept for as long as the host’s account is active, and removed on account or wedding deletion.
